Happy Friday! I'm just poppin' in quick today as I have a lot on my agenda! Yesterday was a pretty standard day ! Breakfast looked like this:
This is a pic from the other day, but I forgot to take a pic yesterday. The brekkie was the same except I substituted almond milk for the yogurt, and threw in some banana! I snacked on an apple mid- morning.
Lunch was a big ol' salad with fish and a bunch of lentils! I was clearly hungry as I scarfed it down before I remembered to take a pic!
had another one of these late afternoon....
Accompanied with this... double tall soy latte! Really lovin' these lately.
I finally arrived home to one of my favorite visions ever. The big Jersey City sign is located right outside the Holland Tunnel which means I'm home. Wheee...
Speaking of the Holland Tunnel... Happy Holiday's, Love New York City! It now costs a whopping 13 bucks to enter or exit the city.
Pretty sunset by riverside drive.
After arriving home, I picked my bff Katie up at work, and we headed for dinner at Razza ! As many of you know from previous posts, Razza has quickly become my new fave pizza spot in Jersey City. We chose a pizza with cremini mushrooms, sausage, and truffle oil. AMAZING.
After dinner, I realize I payed my rent too early which left my bank account in the negative. WOOPS. I was unfortunately unaware that my rent had been deducted, and I had to endure that embarrassing moment when the waitress tells you your card has unfortunately been declined. Ugh. I thought I was going to be washing dishes to make up for my insufficient funds, but Katie was nice enough to pick up the tab. I am lucky to have good friends that love me despite my occasional absent-mindedness.
After work today, I'm heading to SoulCycle for a sweat sesh. My workouts this week have consisted of yoga or treadmill walking, so I'm excited for some sweet sweat and awesome music!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday. Do something good for yourself :)
[...] I came home from shopping and lunch, and I did a quick 30 minute yoga practice to stretch out my sore muscles from Friday’s Soul Cycle class. [...]
